Recycling medication packets Posted or Updated on 7 Jul 2025

Blister packs

Did you know you can recycle empty medication packets at superdrug or boots pharmacy scheme where you can earn points! Use your household waste for cardboard boxes and leaflets.

Please see the link for more information: Boots UK - Boots Rolls out National Blister Pack Recycling Scheme

Inhalers

Inhaler canisters cannot be recycled or dispose of with household waste. We would like to encourage you to return the cannister to our local pharmacies (Knights Dorridge/Knights Knowle)

Inhaler cannisters need to be returned to pharmacies so they can be incinerated with medical waster rather than go to landfill.
